Arrive at The River Khao Sok, check in, and receive a brief orientation before settling into your room.
Enjoy a scenic one-hour drive from your accommodation to the dam, watch the viewpoint, then glide along the water in a traditional long-tail boat to the spectacular Khao Sam Kluay (the “Guilin of Thailand”). Park entrance fees are included. Stop at Nang Phrai raft for fresh fruit, drinks and a restroom break.
Detailed joint program (December-April)
Tour name: Sunset at the Dam Duration: approximately 2-4 hours, depending on sunset time
Meeting / Pick-up:
We will pick you up from your hotel .
Groups: small 8 person / large : 18 person
Itinerary: Pickup & Transfer (approx. 1 hour)
- Departure from your accommodation by car. Enjoy the scenery as we drive to the dam.Dam Ridge Viewpoint (approx. 1 hour)
- Arrive at the dam’s ridge and walk to the viewpoint. Spend time taking photos, relaxing and watching panorama view over the reservoir. Your guide will point out local highlights and photo spots.
Transfer to Pier & Park Ticket
After the viewpoint, we transfer to the nearby pier. Park entrance fee and pier tax are already included in the tour price — no extra payment required on the day.
Take Long-tail Boat Cruise to Khao Sam Kluay (Guilin of Thailand)
Board a traditional long-tail boat. Cruise through calm water and limestone scenery toward Khao Sam Kluay, the highlight of the reservoir. Enjoy the dramatic karst formations and tranquil atmosphere as the sky changes color at sunset.Stop at Nang Phrai Raft
Midway we stop at Nang Phrai raft . Fresh cut fruit and drinks will be available. A restroom is also accessible here for guest convenience. When the time comes for the sunset, the boat will depart slowly from Nang Phrai Raft, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way until we reach the pier for the return transfer.
Return to Pier & Drop-off
After the cruise, return to the pier and we’ll transfer you back to your accommodation.

Notes & tips
The exact pickup time depends on local sunset time; we will choose the timing to ensure you see the sunset from the best spot.
Weather may affect views; if sunset is obscured we will still take the same route and enjoy the boat cruise and scenery.
Please let us know of any mobility issues (some short uneven paths at viewpoints).
